Who is the most influential or important Korean figure in history?

Now we live in Korea.

But you know what, who keep our territory during “Im-jin-wye-ran(the war between Korea and Japan)”

 Korea was infiltrated by Japan at on the sea. At that time a general Lee Soon-sin protect our country.

He was born in 1545 and he was died in 1598.

We were weeker than Japanese marines, much less than ships and marines, but a general Lee Soon-sin invented a “Gu-book-sun(A warship, which a shape likes turtle.

If we didn’t have that warship at that time, we might be lived in small area country(compare to now) or another land.

He also had a talent of writing, so he wrote down diaries middle of wars which are “Nan-joong-il-gi”

He wrote down detailly, how he leaded his marines, how he won a matches and his emotions.
